Pedotec Thunder 220 Alu LSL platform pedals



The Pedotec Thunder 220 platform pedals are made of die-cast aluminum and feature a CNC-machined Cr-Mo axle with lightweight, self-lubricating bearings. Measuring 100 x 108 mm, they offer a stable platform and are equipped with replaceable pins for optimal grip.

Replaceable pins: The pedals have 10 screwed-in stainless steel pins per side. If these wear down or break due to contact with the floor, they can easily be unscrewed and replaced from the back using a small Allen key.

LSL bearing: The abbreviation stands for Lightweight Self-lubricating. It sits on the inside, towards the crank, and together with the outer cartridge bearing, ensures a very low profile for the pedal.

Die-cast aluminum: The pedal body is manufactured using an aluminum die-casting process. This allows for extremely precise cutouts, saves weight, and makes the pedal highly resistant to hard impacts from rocks or roots.

R & L marking: There is an embossed marking on the axle or pedal body (R for right, L for left). This is crucial for assembly, as the left pedal has a left-hand thread (tightened counter-clockwise) and the right pedal has a right-hand thread (tightened clockwise).
